Come and support us at our first Charity Gig - 'Free from Fear' at The Maze in Nottingham.

The event takes place on Friday 18th August 2017 and local acts the New Apostles and Alice Short are performing.

All proceeds go towards supporting women and children fleeing domestic abuse. We provide accommodation and support services.

Please buy your tickets via The Maze website. The link is here

Thank you for your support.

Every penny makes a difference to the service we can provide.

Nottingham Central Women's Aid does not receive any  government funding and relies on the goodwill of individuals, companies and grant making trusts and funds to be able to continue working with the families that we support.

We are a very small charity and we do not hold large amounts of reserves so every penny counts and all money received is used for the running of the refuge and to help support the women and children who seek refuge due to fleeing the violence and abuse they have been subjected to.

If you would like to make a donation we can accept cheques made payable to Nottingham Central Womens Aid or cash donations please contact us on 9607943.

£10 will buy groceries for a woman in crisis who has escaped her home in only the clothes she is wearing.

£65.00 will pay for 2 nights in a refuge for a family who have no recourse to public funds and are unable to claim housing benefit.

£300 will help to replace furniture, bedding or toys needed to maintain the refuge and ensure it remains a homely and welcoming environment for the families who are forced to flee here.

We would also welcome information from any organisations who may be able to donate items, services or larger grants for running costs and salaries for our small team of support staff.
